Today’s 5 Minute Friday word prompt is Join… Join me on a five minute writing journey to see where we go. Just five minute of typing away. Knowing you are here with me, joining in, well that’s pure Joy.
How do you wrap understanding around mystery. A God designed mystery of one plus one equals one, standing at the altar in white and black all open hearted and wide-eyed. And walking away you are one.
How do you grasp a life of together where one by one the little ones join you and you become family, united by a name you share and a life you make together.
It is a beautiful mystery of magnificent making. To look back on the days of life since you held sweaty hands and stood wobbly kneed and ran from a shower of flower petals to a waiting car where you held hands with a new name and an unknown future.
And the more days you live the more the mystery deepens of how loving another and making a life is wonderful.

Oh this is so beautiful. And the mystery of supernatural math….how one plus one equals one…it never ceases to amaze and delight. Thank you for sharing!
Yes, supernatural math. Amazed by it. Simply amazed. Great having you here, friend. Love sharing words with you.
I love the poetic way you write!
“the more days you live, the more the mystery deepens.”
We’ve been married 12 years (so you have twice as much wisdom), and reading this makes me smile at the future.
Oh friend, humbled. It will be 24 in Sept. Praising HIM for it. You have blessed me so in my insides with your heart here. So glad you came. I look forward to seeing you again, next Friday?? wishing you Joy in your Journey, girl.
Oh how I love a good testimony on a marriage that gets better with time. In spite of mistakes, imperfections, and tough circumstances, marriage truly can get deeper and more wonderful. Here’s to more unknown futures and mysteries to be discovered!
Sorry, cut off my signature there! 😦
Its all grace…. :}
Your words ring deep, so deep in my soul. I say, thank you, humbly for your kindness. Yes, oh yes. Mistakes, imperfections, tough circumstances and more!! I write about some of this and will continue too. Because it is better and stronger and sweeter than ever. 24 years in September. I love this “here’s to more unknown futures and mysteries to be discovered.” Just treasure that phrase!!! Here to them, and it, and thanks be to God. Great idea, God. I marvel still at the mystery.
Trying to visit you, are you at Lisa Jo’s? Can’t seem to find you, Stacie.
